As they arrived in Budapest, they checked into a hostel that seemed perfectly normal. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the location was convenient. The movie takes place in Prague, Czech Republic, and follows a group of American and British tourists who are being stalked and hunted by a wealthy and sadistic individual named Mr. Kama (played by Joaquim de Almeida). The tourists, led by a young woman named Monica (played by Elisabeth Shue), are initially unaware of the danger that lurks in the shadows. However, as the story unfolds, they soon discover that they are being targeted by Mr. Kama and his accomplices, who subject them to various forms of torture and abuse.
